Can't you just read his mind? "Mom! hey, mom! Look, it's a giraffe! Wow, that neck! Mom, you're missing it! Quit looking at dad!" In my defense, I had no idea he was coming that close.
And just a few seconds later, we captured this one. He looks so annoyed that we conned him into looking away from that giraffe.
